Why Do We Charge an APC?
TNJ is a fully open access journal, which means articles are free to read and download for everyone. Open access publishing costs money — for editorial management, professional copy-editing, DOI registration, hosting, indexing and quality assurance. The modest APC of $150 covers these costs and keeps the journal financially sustainable without relying on reader subscriptions.
The APC is charged only after acceptance, so there are no fees at the submission or review stage.
Waiver Policy
Waivers are available for authors from low-income countries and for student researchers.
- Full waivers for authors from low-income and least-developed countries.
- Partial waivers and discounts for early-career researchers and PhD students.
- Waivers are granted based on a short request during the submission process.
